Ms. Butler's Class made fantastic Easter bonnets and had an Easter Parade around the school on the day of the holidays. Everyone admired them. Well done for putting in so much work, 4th Class.
Third Class and Sixth Class went on a field trip to Annestown on Thurs, April 8th. They had a great day and learned lots about our beautiful Copper Coast.

Senior Infants made lovely books based on fairytales. They invited 6th Class to come to the hall in April. They read their books for 6th Class, who really enjoyed listening and talking about the books.

2nd Class made their First Confession on Thursday 10th March at 7pm. 6th Class had their Commitment Service on Saturday, 12th March. Both classes are looking forward now to next term and their special days.

The feast of St. John of God was celebrated on Tuesday, March 8th. Children were brought to 10.30 mass in St. Joseph and Benildus Church. Many parents and friends attended the Mass.

Congratualtions to Third Class, who received a unique award from Waterford City Fire Service.
Congratulations also, to all our quiz teams from 4th, 5th and 6th class who took part in the Waterford Credit Union Quiz for Primary Schools. Our senior team were narrowly beaten in a tie breaker for first place.
Parent teacher meetings took place on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th February.

Congratulations to Kate Maguire, 6th Class who won 1st prize in the INTO/EBS Handwriting Competition. Her writing will now go forward to the National Competition.
