20th December : Well done to every girl who sang their heart out and 'shouted out their lines' in Little Angel Gets Her Wings today. Miss.Crowley is so proud of every girl. Enjoy the Christmas holidays and I hope you all get everything you asked for from Santa.Don't worry as promised I rang him to tell him how good every girl in junior infants is.

Sixth class cake sale in aid of S.t Vincent De Paul:13th December 2012
13th December: On Tuesday 11th December the Little Red Kettle theatre company paid their annual visit to our school to perform 'Wiggily Tom and The Little Elf Who Lost Her Story'. We all really enjoyed the show some girls even got to dress up and act out some parts. Well done to Grace, Eimear and Eva.Click here to see some photos taken on the day.

28th September 2012: This week Junior Infants have been learning all about Autumn. Click here to see our hand and fingerprint Autumn trees and our leaf rubbings.
29th September 2012:Junior Infants were practicing their cutting and sticking skills.Miss. Crowley drew lots of circles which the girls had to cut out and make into a teddy bear.We used lots of different colours and our teddy bears look lovely on the corridor. Click here to see our cute bears.
9th October 2012: The art gallery has been updated with Dingle Dangle Scarecrows and Holly the Hedgehog. Holly looks beautiful with all her colours. Click on the link to the gallery to see the photos.
12th October 2012: Junior Infants love dancing and singing. Here are a few pictures of the girls having great fun singing and jumping around to all the songs we have learned so far.

22nd October 2012: Halloween pumpkins of all shapes and sizes and glittery spider webs have been added to our art gallery.
25th October 2012: Junior Infants have had a busy week. On Tuesday the 23rd of October the mayor came to present certificates to the girls who had not missed any days last year. The whole school went to the hall to meet the mayor .We sang our national anthem and the sixth class girls performed on the tin whistle and sang a song. The junior infants were really good sitting up at the top of the hall. Emma even got her photo taken with the mayor. He gave us a half day on Friday October 26th to celebrate our midterm break. We also won the cup for the school with the best attendence in Waterford City. This our second year in a row winning the cup!
Thursday October 25th: Junior infants, senior infants and first class all went to see 'The Gruffalo' in Garter Lane. Two buses brought us down to the quay and then we walked up to Garter Lane. The theatre was lovely with comfy seats for us all to watch 'The Gruffalo' and 'The Gruffalo's Child'. The films were excellent. The teachers enjoyed it just as much as all the girls. When the film was over we all got a drinka nd some biscuits from the nice people working in Garter Lane.Thanks to Harriet, Martina , Lynn and Mrs.O'Neachtain for coming with us.(A few extra pairs of hands are always needed) .Below are some pictures taken while we were there. We were all so good the girls may even take a trip to see another show somewhere else in December !!!!!!

Snakes 20th November 2012: Sixth class have been busy knitting snakes and when they were finished they brought them down to show the junior infants. The girls split into pairs and each had a worksheet to complete with their sixth class partner. They had to talk about the snake, give him or her a name and draw a lovely picture.
